In males

The surgery consists of the surgical removal of the testicles under general anaesthesia. We make a small incision with internal sutures, for greater patient comfort and to avoid the use of an Elizabethan collar as much as possible. The stitches are self-absorbing. Recovery is very quick once the effect of the sedatives used in anaesthesia wears off.
In females
Early sterilisation (before the third heat cycle) will prevent the incidence of mammary tumours in the future, as well as the development of pyometra, pseudopregnancies and ovarian tumours. In addition to improving the health and life expectancy of your animal, unwanted litters will also be avoided.
