About Us
Seeing the need of many disadvantaged animals and the lack of control over dog and cat birth rates in the province, María trained herself and began performing sterilisations in 2014 for animal protection entities and stray animals. Word spread and services were gradually extended to the general public, given the clear need and high demand.
In 2019 her dream came true and she opened her own Veterinary Centre, where thousands of animals have already been sterilised. Later in 2023 it was established as a company specialised in population control, ESTERIVETCONTROL SLP.
We provide services to associations, local councils and private owners. Our services focus mainly on canine and feline sterilisations.
Our veterinary centre is located in the Universidad Jaume I (UJI) neighbourhood, a very accessible area from outside the city with easy parking and a drop-off zone right in front of the centre.

Veterinary SurgeonA veterinarian by vocation and animal lover since childhood, María graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2011. After working abroad and in several practices, she developed a passion for animal welfare in Spain. In 2016 she completed a postgraduate diploma in small animal clinical practice at the UAB, along with courses in surgery and anaesthesia. Her work focuses on small animal surgery, HQHVSN, and population control.

Veterinary SurgeonA small animal specialist, Jorge brings extensive experience in internal medicine and clinical diagnosis to the team. Dedicated to quality care, he manages the comprehensive treatment of patients and post-operative follow-up for sterilised animals.

Veterinary Auxiliary & AdministrativeAna plays a key role at the centre, combining her work as a veterinary auxiliary with administrative duties. She handles appointment management, client care and support to the clinical team during procedures, ensuring everything runs with precision and warmth.
